The Subiaco Tram Service
Free Hop-On Hop-Off tram service in and around Subiaco & Shenton Park stopping off at King’s Park in Perth.
This service is run entirely by volunteers for the benefit of the community.
Ruby is a replica of the original 1899 Trams, she was commissioned to be built around 25 years ago to operate a tour service from Subiaco along Hay St to Perth.
Given a new lease of life with local support, The Subiaco Tram is here to fulfil Ruby’s original duty of ferrying people around the sights and stops of Subiaco.

I wish to thank your volunteer driver from last Wednesday morning shift, 9th October, who came to our rescue and found us after his shift, to let us know that the tram driver was unable to drive the tram back in the afternoon. We were at Lake Jualbup for lunch, my daughter myself and my 5 grandchildren, just about ready to hail the tram, he found us and we thank him! Unfortunately, we did not get his name (Peter Dunn), he was really good looking and such a nice man, please thank him from all of us (we did!) , have sent an article into the Post.
Wow what a great way to see Subiaco on Ruby the free tram bus! We had a heap of fun doing the round trip. Thank you to all the amazing volunteers for putting a smile on our faces and giving up your time for this wonderful Subiaco attraction!
Took the 2 younger grandkids they had lots of fun stopped at kings park had morning tea caught the tram back all the way to Subiaco
I took a ride on the new FREE Subiaco Tram this week and it was fantastic! What a great idea, and it takes in all the main routes around Subiaco. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable too. I sat on the back in the outside bit as it was warm and I didn’t want to get off but I’d been around the whole route. If you are looking for something to do with the kids, or have visitors in town, I’d highly recommend it. You just have to wave at the driver and it stops for you.
